Power User Trial
“Power User Trial” is the fastest and best solution to find bugs, defects, and usability issues for devices which have complex and advanced features such as smartphones and tablets.
The “PUT” combines both the advantages of an internal QA team and external field user trial program. This is the most efficient system for time and human resources. With our highly-advanced developed test plans and scenarios, our experienced engineers perform systematic and in-depth analysis with our Power User Trial program.
Intensive Testing
- Intensive Testing is a very high efficient testing method. We have designed the Intensive Testing method to discover issues in a short amount of time focusing on one subject under pre-set conditions. A large amount of previous issues and real usage patterns from the market are considered for pre-set conditions. It is operated by groups and each group will test the device for a certain period of time with a different subject.
Full Time User Trial
- Full-Time User Trial is performed to discover issues likely to occur during real use and real end-user environment. Operated by our highly experienced engineers, it is easy to manage under controlled condition. Moreover, it derives much faster results by accelerated use of test devices
Stress Testing
- Stress testing is to verify the device’s operation and performance under heavy usage. The conditions that the device could be exposed during its lifetime will be applied. Internal & external memory status, large size of files, maximum capacity of messages, multitasking of applications is considered for this testing procedure.
Interruption Testing
- To evaluate the behaviors and problems of the test device when interruptions occur, interruption testing is performed. We consider all the possible interruptions regarding voice call, message, battery status, signal status, and application
Compatibility Testing
- Compatibility test is designed to confirm that all the types of compatible and incompatible contents are executed properly. We test the most commonly used formats of audio, video image, and document contents.; including inter-vendor, inter-carrier testing for voice call and message. For smart devices, synchronization testing with peripherals is performed.
Usability Testing
- Usability test is designed to fulfill the user’s satisfaction. Our experts use different methods to evaluate the user interface with consideration of how the end-users use the device. The aim is to discover inconvenience which the end-user might encounter. The result is determined by visualization, graphic interface, simplicity, preferred features, touch response, inputting methods, etc.
Professional Testing
GPS Testing
- General hardware and software application of GPS performance for the device will be evaluated in this test. We will derive objective results by comparing and contrasting to reference devices. Moreover, the field test is performed in real world scenarios. Our own test cases will be used for GPS testing.
Wi-Fi Testing
- We will perform the Wi-Fi test in both the lab and field to evaluate the device under both controlled and real-usage scenarios with our own test cases. The main evaluation categories are Network Access, Connectivity, Roaming, Connection/Disconnection Time, Security, Settings, etc.
Application Testing
- The device is evaluated for preloaded and downloaded applications. Our expectation for this test is to minimize end-user’s complaints regarding applications. We will verify if the device properly supports corresponding applications using our own test cases.
